RIDE SAFE. RIDE SMART.

The SCX-E Safety School is a dedicated e-mobility safety education zone within the SCX 2026 event precinct. A collaboration between Sunshine Coast Council and the Australian Stunt Academy, SCX-E delivers hands-on e-bike safety education for riders of all ages.

With Queensland tightening enforcement around illegal and unsafe e-bike use, this course is designed to help young riders develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge to ride safely — and legally — in real-world environments. Many children receive e-bikes without any formal road experience. SCX-E bridges that gap.

FREE TO THE PUBLIC

✓ E-bikes provided for those who can't bring one

Led by Colin Handley, Principal of Australian Stunt Academy — with decades of experience across physical education, outward bound instruction, youth development, and professional stunt performance.

All coaches are fully qualified in their areas of expertise and share a genuine passion for helping children develop safe habits, confidence, and self-belief.
